Software Engineer (PHP / Backend development)

Obligations of the employee:
Develop a product based on Typo3 CMS

The full engineering cycle including technical design, task estimation, implementation, documentation

Database design and development

Unix configuration and administration skills (docker)

Perform code reviews

Create new ideas to improve the product

Professional skills and abilities

Required:

 

3+ years of software development experience in IT companies

· Product orientation

· Degree in C· Deep knowledge in PHP 7.*, Javascript, CSS/HTML

· Practical experience with one of modern PHP frameworks (symfony, zend, laravel)

· Practical experience with one of modern JS frameworks (angular, react, etc)

· Software architecture and design patterns

· OOP, DRY, SOLID

· Strong RDBMS knowledge

· Self-reliant and responsible working attitude, problem solver with a "can do" attitude

· Team player

· Good in Linux

· Version control Systems

· Good knowledge in product lifecycle   

Desirable:

 

· Experience with Typo3 or Contaoomputer Science / Engineering

· Docker, Gitlab CI

· Analytical thinking, good sense on when to escalate and seek additional help

· German language

· Fast learner, ability to acquire new expertise

Knowledge of foreign languages :
English (written and spoken) at intermediate level and above;
German - knowledge at any level will be an added advantage

 

Additional requirements: The ideal candidate has advanced self-management skills; Experience of communication at different levels; Works equally efficiently both in the team and independently; reliable.
